In Muse, you do not paste a URL into a settings page. You ask Muse to create a Custom Connector for UnderSelf, give it https://api.underself.io/mcp, and follow its lead. Meta documents custom connectors; we have not tried UnderSelf with Muse ourselves yet.

Not yet verified by us.We have not connected Muse to UnderSelf ourselves. UnderSelf asks you to sign in and approve in your browser, and we do not know yet whether Muse's custom connectors can complete that step. If you try it, please tell us what happened at info@underself.io.
Meta's help center says that for a service not in the Connector list, you can ask Muse to create a Custom Connector, and Muse will guide you through it. Meta also says it does not review custom connectors, so it asks you to grant access with care and read the provider's privacy terms. Ours are at underself.io/privacy. See every supported app.
Start a new conversation in Muse, wherever you use it.
Say something like: "Create a custom connector for my UnderSelf dream journal. It is a remote MCP server at https://api.underself.io/mcp that uses OAuth sign in."
Muse guides you through what it needs. If it opens the UnderSelf consent page, sign in with Google or Apple, check what it will be able to do, and tap Approve.
Once Muse says the connector is ready, say: "Log this dream: I was in a house with extra rooms."
If Muse asks for a key or token.UnderSelf does not hand out API keys or personal tokens today. Every connection goes through the sign in and Approve page. Do not paste your Google or Apple password into a chat. Write to info@underself.io and we will look into it.
Once connected, see what you can ask Muse.
Any assistant that supports MCP with OAuth sign in connects the same way. If your version of Muse offers a place to add a custom MCP server by URL, use it with the same address. Developers can read the full OAuth and error reference.
Meta says you can disconnect a connector any time in Muse's Settings, under Connectors. You can also open app.underself.io/account, go to Connected apps and tap Disconnect. Access stops within 15 minutes.
