What this is
A guided meditation
A guided meditation gathers a room of people sitting or lying quietly while a teacher's voice leads attention toward the breath, the body, or a simple phrase repeated in the mind. Some sessions open with slow movement or a few stretches; most settle into stillness within the first few minutes. You do not need any background, a particular belief, or prior practice to follow along, and it is normal for the mind to wander and come back many times in one sitting. The teacher's voice is the anchor throughout.
Wear something comfortable, bring a cushion or chair if you like, and expect to sit quietly with your eyes closed for most of the time.
