What this is

A sound bath

A sound bath is a listening session built around gongs, singing bowls, and chimes, usually played live while the room lies down on mats or cushions with eyes closed. There is no music to follow and nothing to perform; you simply lie back and let the tones move through the room for about an hour. People come from yoga studios, meditation circles, and plain curiosity, and many say the hardest part is staying awake. The instruments do the work; you just show up and listen.

Bring a mat, a blanket, and something to rest your head on, then find a spot on the floor and lie down.
